- The core focus of KOR is to improve the reading, comprehension , critical thinking skills & creativity of children who are part of this program through enjoyable story telling sessions and activities.
- KOR program is designed to collaborate with many like minded partners who help in enrolling schools & learning centers that cater to the underprivileged children & effectively implementing the program.
- Participating schools and learning centers are supported with bilingual story books through a mobile library, learning aids and training to empower teachers for effective implementation of this program.
- Teachers and regular volunteers associated with any partnering school are trained and empowered to become “Reading Coaches(RCs)”, who in turn independently facilitate the reading sessions in their schools.
- Partnering schools / learning centers are provided with ongoing support and interventions based on their implementation level.
